Clean Cooking Energy Stakeholders Convene to Advance Sector Growth

TANGSEN participated in a Clean Cooking Energy Stakeholders’ Meeting held on 20 January 2026 at Destiny Hall, Kibaha District, Coast Region. The meeting, organized by TACCS in collaboration with partner organizations, brought together key stakeholders to discuss achievements, challenges, and strategies for advancing the clean cooking energy sector.

Discussions focused on the testing and certification of clean cooking stoves in line with standards set by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards (TBS), emphasizing consumer safety and quality assurance. Stakeholders also shared ongoing efforts to raise awareness among women and youth on the use and production of improved, efficient cookstoves.

TANGSEN commended stakeholders’ efforts and called for strengthened collaboration to support the Government of Tanzania’s goal of ensuring that 80 percent of Tanzanians adopt clean cooking solutions by 2034, contributing to improved health, environmental protection, and sector growth.
