A Successful Partnership for Gender Inclusion between DON BOSCO and TANGSEN"

Collaboration between two prominent non-governmental organizations, DON BOSCO and TANGSEN, has flourished with the signing of a two-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday 15th November 2024 aimed at advancing Gender Inclusion. This partnership brings together the DON BOSCO Planning and Development Office and the Tanzania Gender and Sustainable Energy Network (TANGSEN), both of which share a commitment to empowering marginalized communities.

Since the signing of the MoU, the collaboration will make significant strides in promoting Gender Equality and sustainable development. The two organizations have worked closely to design and implement programs that ensure Youth, Women and Girls are equipped with the skills and resources needed to thrive in energy-related sectors, as well as in broader community development efforts.

Through joint initiatives, such as training workshops, awareness campaigns, and community outreach, the partnership has fostered an inclusive environment where gender equity is not only prioritized but actively pursued. This continued cooperation between DON BOSCO and TANGSEN will serve as a model for other organizations seeking to drive social change through collaborative efforts.
